Sanman Art Therapy Program

The SANMAN Art Therapy (“SAT”) program allows participants to channel their life experiences and range of emotions to create unique artistic expressions. The SAT program is not facilitated by licensed therapists or clinical in any regard; however, Art practitioners encourage participants to freely use colors, shapes, and images to express themselves and their experiences. The creative process is known to be cathartic and therapeutic for the participant.

Art, like life, comprises a wide range of emotions and various aspects of life.  Dynamic artwork is an expression of an individual's perspective, emotions, and interpretation of their own unique existence.

Within the Art Therapy program we are also setting forth the Creative Care Initiative. This initiative provides affordable mental health services to creatives through reduced rate virtual therapy sessions. The concept of this program is to reinforce the wholistic care of the community.

Creatives lives tend to be devalued until their creation is valued, SANMAN challenges that notion. We want to help artists in our community care for their mental health by providing educational programming and affordable resources. The virtual sessions are offered on either a weekly or bimonthly basis. Weekly sessions are at $100/month and bi-monthly sessions are at $50/month.
