Abdurrahman Danquah is a visual artist born and raised in Central Texas. He holds a BA in Media Production from the University of Houston and is currently pursuing his MFA in Film & Media Production at UT Austin. Danquah's art is influenced by his identity as a Black Arab Muslim raised in the American South. His work spans between film and photography with identity, faith, and connection serving as the main anchors throughout his artistic practice. His photography has been exhibited at spaces including the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, SANMAN, and Casa Luz, and featured in publications such as The New York Times and The Washington Post.
