Kaelyn Provost is a visual artist from Houston,Texas who creates abstract works using oil paint and pastels. Her pieces are multi-dimensional, bold, and colorful drawing upon her inner world to create portals for her subjects to exist in. She experiments with light, composition, and color theory to reflect the co-existing nature of the conscious and subconscious body. Provost started her career when she switched her major from biology to art, creating her own website to host her portfolio. Through her tenacity Kaelyn connected with other artists and exhibition opportunities by conducting her own research. She received her BFA in Studio Art at Texas State University.
One thing that Kaelyn wants people to know is that she enjoys discussing varying interpretations of her work. Additionally, she enjoys analyzing and offering feedback to artists and is open to individuals who want to discuss their work with her.
