Meet Phalyn Honora

Phalyn Honora is an experimental photographer from Houston, Texas who’s  body of work explores her internal observations of the world. Using analog photography as her medium, Phalyn’s art is organic and intentional. Her process draws on her inner ruminations and sociological theories to frame her work. Honora creates despite the many systems that operate to challenge her existence and this is shown in her dynamic and thought provoking work.

‍

One thing that Phalyn wants people to know about her is that she doesn’t define herself as an artist. She is less interested in labels and categories that can box in individuals, Phalyn believes that the moniker ‘artist’ be left for those who seek to be defined.
